How long do I have access to the online training course?
You have access to Mimic Lashes training for life upon signing up to our courses! Work at your own pace to complete your training and begin the certification process. You will also have lifetime access to new and updated content and will love our regular tips and tricks videos!
Can I do the Volume Lash Training if I have not trained in eyelash extensions before?
No, you need to complete Classic Lash Training prior to Volume as it is the foundational knowledge and skill to eyelash extensions. However, Mimic Lashes offer a combined course of both Classic and Volume at a special discounted price.
We will send you a combined kit with products for both. Once you have completed Classic Training and have attained your certificate, you can begin your Volume Training.
I am trained in Classic Eyelash Extensions, how can I train with Mimic Lashes in Volume Lash extensions?
Just send us a copy of your Classic Extension certificate and you can start training with Mimic Lashes right away!
What if I change my mind?
You have a 7 day cooling off period for change of mind and will receive a full refund provided that your student kit is returned intact, unused and in its original packaging. The return postage will be at your own cost.
If you have chosen lay-buy payment method and change your mind at any time before your final payment is processed, you will receive a full refund.
How do I gain access to the course contents?
Your course will begin 7 days after full payment has been made, allowing time for your student kit to arrive to you. You will receive a user ID and password via email, which enables you to login via a student portal. Here you can access all training video content and download training manuals.
Will I receive a certificate after the completion of my eyelash extension training?
At Mimic Lashes, we strive to standout as elite technicians in an industry that is not yet thoroughly regulated.
We want YOU to be the best of the best and have the confidence to go with it!
Therefore we do not hand out certificates simply once you have completed your training. Rather, we ask that you complete both a theory and practical assessment so that we assess your knowledge and skills before certifying you as an Eyelash Technician.
What is involved in the theory and practical assessments?
Mimic Lashes theory test is a short assessment carried out online, which asks you 20 multiple choice questions. It is based on the theory and training provided in your Mimic Lashes Training Manual. You must achieve a score of 80% or more to pass it.
Practical assessment involves submitting evidence of your work as you train, followed by a video-call towards the end of your training, which will involve you working on a model as we assess your skills.
If I do not pass the theory or practical assessment what happens?
You can resit the theory test anytime.
We will guide you as to why you may not have passed a practical assessment to ensure that you develop the necessary skills and confidence.
Remember, we offer 24/7 student support and are here to help and guide you at all times.
When will my goods be delivered?
We offer next day delivery by courier service provided your order is placed by 12 noon. Orders placed after 12 noon can not be guaranteed next day delivery, but within 1-2 business days. We offer courier services so that goods can be tracked and signed for, to ensure maximum security and efficiency. Unfortunately we cannot offer local postal services due to liquids and certain tools being restricted.
